Utility – Housekeeping
Aim Mining Corporation are a gold development company who operates the Warrawoona Gold Project located near Marble Bar in the East Pilbara district of Western Australia.
Exciting changes are underway as we embrace new management and ramp our Warrawoona project back up to full production.
With a bright future ahead, the Warrawoona Gold Project is expected to have a mine life of initially 5 – 7 years with significant potential to further resources within the region. About the role
As we ramp back up into production, we are pleased to announce an exciting change in how we approach our village at Warrawoona. To continue delivering a more personalised and quality dining experience, we are now employing our own Utilities directly.
If you are an experienced Mine Site experienced Housekeeper looking to make your mark in a mining environment, we want to hear from you.
These roles are permanent opportunities on a 15 days on, 13 days off roster, FIFO from Perth.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts
- Clean rooms, restrooms and other work areas as required so that health standards are met
- Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
- Replenish supplies, such as linens and bathroom items
- Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy
- Dust furniture and equipment
- Sweep and wash floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork when required
- Assist with other duties as directed supervisor and team to prioritize duties
- Perform Bar/shop duties in the Village wet mess.
- Adhere to all safety and environmental considerations and company policies and procedures
About you
We are seeking applications from experienced and enthusiastic professionals who have:
- Current WA driver’s license
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
- Food Handling Certificate
- Prior mine site experience is preferred
